The K-CART Autism Resource Center
The warm, welcoming Autism Resource Center is a lending library of specialized books, DVDs and other resources on Autism Spectrum Disorders and a place for families and practitioners to get staff guidance on navigating ASD community resources. Children are welcome and have their own area with toys and books. The Resource Center also holds trainings on a regular basis.
The Resource Center is located in Suite 270 in Regnier Hall on the west side of the University of Kansas Edwards Campus, 127th and Quivira in Overland Park.

The Autism Resource Center is a collaborative venture between public and private entities. University of Kanss Edwards Campus Vice Chancellor Bob Clark provided the suite of offices and a reception area. Materials were purchased using gifts to K-CART from the Autism Society of the Heartland, the 2008 senior class at Blue Valley North High School in Leawood, Kan., and from two fundraising events -- Caeden's Cause in July 2008 and the Kansas City Young Matrons Ball in January 2009. Interior design students and faculty at Johnson County Community College volunteered their time to design the space, furnishings and other visual element.
