Pimavanserin clinical trial

Who can participate: People ages 16–40 who have an autism diagnosis

Study summary: We are examining the effects of the medication Pimavanserin on inflexible thinking and rigid-compulsive behavior in individuals with ASD. The medication will be administered by the study team during select visits and at home during the latter portion of the study. You will be asked to complete a variety of tasks including study questionnaires, medical evaluations, tests of behavioral inflexibility and complete non-invasive EEG tasks.

Time commitment: At least 6 visits ranging from 1-6 hours each, spread over the course of 8-12 weeks. 

Compensation: Participants will be compensated for their time.
